Stephanie’s Bouquet

I just finished this bouquet I received last spring and sent it to it’s new home. I immediately fell in love with this gorgeous bouquet. The colors were so bright and vivid and perfect for pressing. If you compare the two images you will see that the colors change a bit when pressing, but still remain pretty. I love the orange Ranunculus, soft pink Roses, and gorgeous Peonies (that smell so good!). The yellow Billy Balls were a fun touch!

Bouquet Day

The days when I receive a new bouquet are some of my favorite days. It is rare I know what the bouquet will look like, so it’s always a fun surprise. Sometimes I get to meet the person I will be creating the piece for. I always enjoy hearing a little of their story and getting a general feeling for their personalities, which gives me my first ideas for how the final project may look. Right when I receive the flowers I take them immediately to my studio so I can get a photo to reference later. A special bonus on bouquet day is the glorious scents that fill my work space!

Pressed Bouquets St. Louis

Hi, I’m Heather Albers. I started NaturedSTL after a long time obsession with gardening. This eventually led to me pressing some of my own homegrown flowers. I had so much fun with that, I started making and selling cards, wall art, and other small pressed flower gifts. Because of my fascination with everything to do with weddings (even though my own wedding was 8 years ago!), I eventually tried my hand at pressing bridal bouquets and fell in love with the process. I love everything from the surprise of what the bouquet will look like, to the pressing, to the design process, to the final finishing touches. I love working with brides but I also love creating a special memorial for someone who has lost someone special.

When I’m not preserving your special bouquets, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and our three little boys.
